If you've recently decided that you'd like

If you've recently decided that you'd like

to bind your reports, calendars, and other documents with plastic

binding combs, congratulations! You picked one of the most versatile

and easiest binding methods around. However, you're going to need a

machine to put your documents together and picking the right one can be

challenging. Here's what you need to consider when purchasing one of

these products.

Manual or electric? One of the

first things you should think about is if you want an electric or

manual device as there are advantages and disadvantages to both.

Electric models work a lot faster than their manual siblings so you'll

be able to finish your work in a shorter amount of time. However,

they're also more expensive and they obviously require a power source.

Manual devices can cause you to spend a hefty amount of time on

punching and binding, especially if the machine can't process a lot of

paper at one time. However, manual units are cheaper and they're more

plentiful, so you may have an easier time finding the right one for

your needs. Punching and binding capacity Ultrasonic Welding Machine for sale. This

is probably the most important attribute you need to consider when

purchasing a comb binding machine. You will need to determine how thick

your books will be and choose one that meets that need. Plastic combs

come in a variety of thicknesses from 3/16" (10 pages) to 2" (425

pages), so be sure to pick a device that can handle the combs you plan

on using for your documents. Also, the punching capacity is important

because punching can be extremely time-consuming, especially if you get

a manual device. So be sure to pick a machine that can punch a lot of

pages at one time. The throat and disengageable dies. All

comb binding devices can punch and bind documents that are letter-sized

(8.5" x 11"). However, if you'd like to create documents that are

larger and smaller than that, be sure to look for a machine with an

open throat and disengageable dies. Both of these features will enable

you to create documents of different sizes, such as half-letter (8.5" x

5.5") and legal-size (8.5" x 14"). Construction and warranty. Since

you'll be putting out a fair amount of cash for your new machine, make

sure the one you choose is well-made. Make sure the device has as many

metal components as possible because plastic parts will wear down and

break sooner rather than later. Also, check out the product's warranty

so you'll know if you'll be covered if the machine breaks down. Brand and price. Finally,

you'll want to choose an affordable device from a good manufacturer.

Some companies that make first-rate devices include GBC, Renz,

Rhin-O-Tuff, and Tamerica. Other brands to consider are Fellowes and

Akiles. And be sure to pick a product that's the right price for you.

Don't spend more than you can afford!

Some other things you

might want to take into account are the device's looks, whether it's

easily portable, and if it comes with a small selection of supplies to

get you started. You'll also want to make sure you feel comfortable

with the product you choose.

Choosing a plastic comb binding machine doesn't need to be difficult,

but it does help to have some idea of what to look for. Now that you

know what to consider, buy one of these great devices for your office

today!

Big data is seemingly all pervasive PTFE welder Manufacturers

Big data is seemingly all-pervasive PTFE welder Manufacturers today. If used correctly, it can be used as a powerful business tool that adds a significant competitive edge. However, it is equally easy to get lost in the way and become overwhelmed by the data. Enterprises need to be creative and smart in their approach to this still evolving platform.

The Rhino Tuff HC8024 enjoys the competitive

advantage of being the only double loop wire closer on the market that

can handle twenty four inch documents. It has many other capabilities

as well, and we will take a look at this machine and list for you

what we consider to be its advantages and disadvantages.

The Rhino Tuff HC8024 enjoys the competitive

advantage of being the only double loop wire closer on the market that

can handle twenty four inch documents. It has many other capabilities

as well, and here we will take a look at this machine and list for you

what we consider to be its advantages and disadvantages.

Strengths:

One

obvious strength of the HC8024 is that is stands as the only twenty

four inch double loop closer that is out there on the market. This

machine can close twin loop, WireBind, spiral-o, double loop, and

wire-o spines in virtually any diameter and in lengths up to twenty

four inches. We really liked that the HC8024

includes a very handy slide out table that is located on the front.

Surprisingly enough, there is not another wire closer currently on the

market that includes a document table. We found that it made it a whole

lot easier to deal with larger format documents like calendars and

music books. The process of adjusting the closer

for the different sizes of wire is remarkable easy on this machine.

There are two big, obvious knobs that make the process extremely

simple. What we are really impressed with is the fact that we could use

this machine to work with wires as small as three sixteenths and as

large as an inch and a quarter. With this machine, it matters not at

all whether the spine in question is 2:1, 3:1 or nineteen loop wire

combs. The versatile HC8024 can tackle them all.

Just as we have all come to expect from Rhino products, the HC8024 is

of all metal construction. That includes both the chassis and the

working parts. We can see no reason that the HC-8024 wouldn't last you

a number of years, even in a high production stetting.

Weaknesses:

We

found that the operation of the HC8024 was just a little bit unwieldy,

in that it requires that both hands be used in the process. There are

two handles on the machine, and we can see how it had to be designed

this way, but it does make the HC8024 a little harder to operate that

some of the other wire closers that are available. To get a good

closing, you must place the wire so that you can be sure that it won't

move during the process. It's not impossible, just a little tricky.

This is a binding machine that is capable of binding just about any

size of document that you are going to need it to. The one exception is

that it can't be used with one and a half inch binding spines. This is

not a very commonly seen size of wire, but we just thought we should

mention it. The capacity to handle 24" documents

is a great thing, but it does mean that you will be required,

naturally, to purchase 24" wire. This is a little bit of a specialty

item, and is sometimes hard to find, not to mention somewhat expensive.

Strip cut shredding leaves your blister packing welding machine

Strip cut shredding leaves your blister packing welding machine in (you guessed

it) long, straight strips, which can, it stands to reason, be more

easily pieced together by anyone who had a mind to do so. For that

reason, it is usually more recommended that you purchase a shredder

that shreds paper into a cross cut pattern. A cross cut shredder leaves

documents looking like tiny pieces of confetti, and is a much more

secure method of discarding confidential documents than strip cut

shredding.

Long story short, though the ability to shred CD's is a great addition

to your security arsenal, you should think long and hard before you

sacrifice general document security for the ability to shred compact

discs. There are plenty of machines that are able to do both cross cut

and multi media, and you should seriously consider taking the time to

find one.

Capacity

Due to the inherent limitation in most shredder motors, it is pretty

unlikely that you will find an office machine that can shred compact

discs all day every day, but that is to be expected. You can still find

machines out there that are able to give you decent sheet capacity and

run time along with the ability to shred compact discs. A good way to

find out what the capacity is of a particular machine you are

investigating is to go to the company website and see if you can

download the manual for the product in question.

Different manufacturers have different methods for providing the extra

power that is needed to shred CD's, and naturally the cutting heads

take a bit more of a beating when they are being shredded on a regular

basis. To that end, you may want to take a look at the warranty offered

by the each of the manufacturers on these particular machines to see

which will best suit your needs.

Safety

Each manufacturer of a multimedia shredder also has their own safety

measures. Some offer plastic guards at the opening that both keep

fingers out of the slot, and keep shards of shredded plastic from

flying out of the opening when CD's are being put through the machine.

You should take a look around and see what you feel will work best for

you.

If you are shopping for a new pvc welding machine Factory

If you are shopping for a new pvc welding machine Factory you may need a service contract to go along with it. In this article you will learn the ins and the outs of service contracts, read on…

Welcome to Part II of our three part series on service contracts. This article covers service contracts on high volume laser fax machines. Service contracts on high volume fax machines are much different than service contracts on a copy machines.

The difference is that fax machines are not billed by غير مجاز مي باشدt per copy. If you read my previous article “Service Contracts on Copiers,” then you know that غير مجاز مي باشدt per copy means that you are billed each time you make a copy. Fax machine service contracts are billed differently.

Understanding what is covered and what is not covered is very important to find out before you purchase a service contract on your fax machine. Most fax machine service contracts are billed annually and the supplies are normally not covered. Many service contracts do not include toner, drums or heat rollers. Many service companies will sell you supplies at a discounted rate as long as you are continuing to keep your machine on contract. They also may add an additional charge to cover circuit boards.

You can also purchase a “cleaning only contract.” You can purchase two or three cleanings or service calls per year in advance at a discounted rate. This way you keep your machine clean and if you run into trouble and you need to place a service call you will save money.

I always recommend installing a high quality surge protector on all copiers, fax machines and laser printers. This will protect your machine from power surges that could destroy your machine. Some surge protector companies have a guarantee that covers your machine if their surge protector does protect your machine against a high voltage surge.

Service contracts are similar to an insurance policy. They may or may not save you money. Many companies do not purchase service contracts on fax machines because they don’t cover everything as copier contracts do. They service their machine(s) on a per call basis. You will have to decide for yourself or your company if you will purchase a service contract for your fax machine.
